Installation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Manage projects from initial survey to final approval.

• Create designs utilizing CAD and PLC technologies.

• Pre-assemble control panels as part of the setup process.

• Install and commission electrical, mechanical, automation, and SCADA systems.

• Contribute to the development of telemetry, remote monitoring, and proprietary environmental technology.

• Set up automated systems for environmental protection.

• Perform audits to identify system enhancements and repairs.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, clients, and suppliers.

• Oversee high-quality engineering projects.

• Travel to job sites and conduct remote deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Electrical qualifications (Level 3 NVQ C&G or equivalent).

• Experience in delivering engineering installations in environmental or industrial contexts.

• Demonstrated installation experience with a practical engineering approach.

• Familiarity with BS EN 858-2:2003 and BS 7671 – 18th Edition.

• Understanding of industry standards and best practices.

• Valid UK driving licence.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Capability to conduct thorough surveys of mechanical, electrical, and environmental assets.

• Strong organizational skills paired with a problem-solving mindset.
