Installation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute installations focused on environmental protection engineering.

• Manage projects from the initial site assessment through to design completion and final approval.

• Utilize CAD and PLC systems for design purposes.

• Pre-assemble control panels as part of the installation process.

• Install and commission electrical, mechanical, automation, and SCADA systems.

• Participate in research and development related to telemetry, remote monitoring, and patented environmental technologies.

• Implement automated systems aimed at environmental protection.

• Perform system audits, enhancements, and repairs as needed.

• Collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, clients, and suppliers.

• Lead projects of high quality and assist with remote deployments.

• Travel to project locations as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Electrical qualifications such as Level 3 NVQ C&G or equivalent.

• Experience in delivering engineering installations within environmental or industrial contexts.

• Proven practical experience with installation tasks.

• Familiarity with BS EN 858-2:2003 and BS 7671 – 18th Edition standards.

• Understanding of industry standards and best practices.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Valid UK driving licence.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Capability to conduct surveys of mechanical, electrical, and environmental assets with high standards.

• Proficiency in working with electrical, mechanical, automation, and SCADA systems.

• Knowledge of CAD and PLC systems, or a willingness to pursue facilitated training.
