Insights Director – Freelance Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and/or carry out the creation of insights and narratives while completing the data analysis and reporting stages of projects.

• The contractor will collaborate closely with Escalent team members in Insights, Project Management, and Sales & Strategic Growth roles to deliver high-quality project solutions.

• The contractor may utilize a range of methods and tools, potentially partnering with Escalent specialists, including Centers of Excellence such as Marketing & Data Sciences, Behavioral Science, the Qualitative team, as well as Syndicated & Javelin Advisory practices.

• The contractor will leverage their existing expertise to work alongside Escalent staff throughout various project engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in the specified industry or sector.

• Highly proficient in analytics functional skillset.

• Extensive expertise and experience in research methodologies, including survey/instrument design.

• Ability to translate findings into actionable insights.

• Development of story architecture.

• Highly skilled in all facets of Reporting (deliverables).

• Proficient in prescriptive/consultative writing for reports and client communications.

• Competent in data visualization, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Capable of autonomous report design and analysis planning.

• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.

• Ability to contribute to research design and/or proposal writing when necessary for the engagement.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• High level of professionalism and situational awareness, particularly in client interactions.

• Strong collaborative skills, able to work effectively with Escalent staff in various roles and locations.
