Insights Director – Freelance Contractor, 1099

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and/or implement the creation of insights and storytelling while completing data analysis and reporting stages of projects.

• The contractor will collaborate closely with Escalent personnel in Insights, Project Management, and Sales & Strategic Growth roles to deliver project solutions with high quality.

• The contractor may utilize a diverse range of methods and tools and has the opportunity to collaborate with Escalent experts, including Centers of Excellence such as Marketing & Data Sciences, Behavioral Science, the Qualitative team, Syndicated & Javelin Advisory practices.

• The contractor will leverage their existing expertise to work alongside Escalent staff throughout project engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• At least 7 years of relevant experience within the desired industry or sector.

• Strong proficiency in analytics functional skillset.

• A broad range of expertise and experience in research methodologies, including survey/instrument design.

• Ability to translate findings into actionable insights.

• Skilled in the creation of story architecture.

• Proficient in all facets of Reporting (deliverables).

• Excellent prescriptive/consultative writing skills for reports and client communications.

• Competence in data visualization, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Capable of autonomous report design and analysis planning.

• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.

• Ability to assist in research design and/or proposal writing as needed for the engagement.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• High level of professionalism and situational awareness, especially concerning client interactions.

• Highly collaborative, able to work effectively with Escalent staff across various roles and locations.
