Inside Service Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Handle service and billing inquiries as well as first notice of loss (FNOL) calls from clients.

• Address customer questions regarding policies in a professional manner.

• Deliver customized insurance services as a Trusted Advisor.

• Highlight Allstate's features and advantages during portfolio assessments.

• Oversee policy renewals and modifications.

• Respond to online inquiries as necessary.

• Foster client loyalty through meticulous attention to detail and relationship development.

• Upsell and cross-sell Auto and Property products in accordance with underwriting standards.

• Assist and guide clients with FNOL claim calls.

• Record loss information in the claims system.

• Execute designated claims tasks and transfer or assign claims to a Claim Advisor.

• Achieve and surpass key performance and attendance benchmarks.

• Report directly to the Manager, Inside Service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience.

• Possession of an OTL or General level 1 Insurance License, or willingness to obtain one for your province.

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service.

• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.

• Competent computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications.

• This role is remote; a suitable home office space is required.

• Availability to work evenings is essential.

• Prior experience in a call center and insurance environment is preferred.

• Must be available to work during operational hours, Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 8 pm EST, with rotating schedules.

• Standard work week consists of 37.5 hours.
