This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Oversee all Transactional accounts within a designated region, representing the full range of LGC Standards product offerings to both new and existing clients across various end-markets, including Pharma, Biotech, and Environmental sectors.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, leveraging a mix of prospecting efforts and lead qualification in collaboration with our marketing team, or through self-generated leads.
• Engage actively with clients through email, phone communications, and virtual meetings to qualify leads, convert prospects, follow up on quotes, and drive new sales initiatives.
• Utilize LGC’s sales tools and virtual capabilities for prospecting, nurturing, closing deals, and conducting ongoing territory management.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to launch new products and work with the core end-market team to monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Manage relevant service cloud cases daily, ensuring timely resolution of tasks and maintaining a guaranteed response time.
• Master’s degree in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, or a related field (a combination of educational qualifications and experience will be considered).
• Demonstrated experience in selling technical products utilized in laboratory settings.
• Proven success in account management.
• Proficiency in customer relationship management tools (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office suite.
• A solid history of meeting and surpassing sales objectives.
• Exceptional negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of industry trends and market dynamics.
• Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% as required.
