This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

• Pursue new SLED clients through proactive outreach and lead generation initiatives via phone calls and emails.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle for State, Local Government, and Education prospects.
• Manage the scheduling of sales meetings with new clients on a weekly basis.
• Ensure that all clients maintain an active Keeper contract.
• Develop and maintain a continuous pipeline of prospective customers to evaluate.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on all Keeper offerings, remaining informed and updated on changes, enhancements, and new products.
• Engage in cold calling and role-playing exercises while shadowing calls with team members.
• Cultivate relationships with potential customer contacts within SLED accounts.
• Leverage additional sales resources to discover and target new business opportunities in the public sector.
• Utilize Salesforce.com to accurately document pipeline and account activities.
• Lead the proposal review process for new business opportunities.
• Use cooperative contracts and purchasing options to expedite opportunities and assist public sector procurement processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure sales efforts align with SLED procurement needs and contracting pathways.
• Willingness to travel to customer meetings (both locally and nationally) and rent or operate a vehicle on behalf of the company.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software or technology sales, ideally within the IAM or cybersecurity sectors.
• At least 1 year of experience in SLED or government sales within software or technology sales.
• Proven track record of surpassing quotas while selling software to IT organizations.
• Experience managing the complete sales cycle is preferred.
• Familiarity with cooperative contracts and public sector purchasing options.
• Experience with a Customer Relationship Management tool is preferred, with a strong preference for expertise in Salesforce.com.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
• Experience conducting web-based demonstrations.
• Exceptional sense of autonomy, ownership, and commitment to helping customers achieve their intended value.
• Energetic and self-driven; a team player who is also a proactive and innovative problem-solver.
• Ability to learn software quickly; strong competency with business applications.
• Due to the involvement in FedRAMP, all applicants must be U.S. citizens.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• An undergraduate degree is preferred (BA/BS).
