• Pursue new SLED (State, Local Government, and Education) clients through proactive outreach and lead generation initiatives via calls and emails.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle for opportunities within State, Local Government, and Education sectors.
• Effectively schedule sales meetings with new clients on a weekly basis.
• Ensure all customers maintain an active Keeper contract.
• Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective customers to evaluate.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on all Keeper products, remaining knowledgeable and updated on any changes, updates, and new offerings.
• Engage in cold calling and role-playing exercises while shadowing colleagues' calls.
• Cultivate relationships with prospective customer contacts across SLED accounts.
• Utilize supplementary sales resources to identify and target new business opportunities within the public sector.
• Leverage the Salesforce.com database to accurately represent pipeline and account activities.
• Guide the proposal review process for new business opportunities.
• Employ cooperative contracts and purchasing vehicles to expedite opportunities and facilitate public sector procurement processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to align sales initiatives with SLED procurement requirements and contracting pathways.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings (both locally and nationally) and to rent and/or operate a vehicle on behalf of the company.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software or technology sales, ideally within the IAM or cybersecurity sectors.
• At least 1 year of experience in SLED or government sales within software or technology sales.
• A proven history of surpassing sales quotas, particularly in selling software to IT organizations.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle is preferred.
• Familiarity with cooperative contracts and public sector purchasing mechanisms.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is preferred, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce.com.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
• Experience conducting web-conference demonstrations.
• Exceptional sense of autonomy, ownership, and commitment to assisting customers in achieving their desired value.
• Energetic and self-driven; a team player who is also a proactive and innovative problem solver.
• Capacity for learning software; adept with business applications.
• Due to the nature of this role's involvement in FedRAMP, applicants must be U.S. citizens.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• An undergraduate degree is preferred (BA/BS).
