Inside Sales Representative

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to the outside sales team by managing requests for quotes, verifying the accuracy of incoming orders (including pricing, adherence to minimum order requirements, shipping instructions, terms, and conditions), processing orders, sending order confirmations, informing customers of order modifications, and collaborating with other departments to expedite and monitor orders.

• Serve as the account manager for small to mid-sized clients, with situational support from the Business Development Executive, including setting prices within established guidelines.

• Respond to and return customer inquiries via phone and email.

• Diagnose, research, resolve, and escalate issues as needed.

• Investigate customer complaints and assist the sales team in finding resolutions.

• Engage regularly with Project Managers, Engineering, and Operations to ensure optimal customer service.

• Consistently monitor customer portals for communication regarding RFQs, POs, requested date changes, and more.

• Perform other assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• High school diploma.

• Over 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office.

• More than 2 years of inside sales experience.

• Experience with A&D customers.

• At least 2 years of experience using CRM software, such as Salesforce.

• Over 2 years of experience using ERP software for entering Sales Orders.

• Familiarity with working in a manufacturing setting.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage competing priorities.

• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
