• Analyze project plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports to determine scope and requirements.
• Create comprehensive bid packages encompassing equipment, labor, and treatment systems.
• Determine the sizing of dewatering systems (pumps, piping, filtration, tanks, etc.) according to project conditions.
• Generate precise cost estimates and proposals for submission.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to verify pricing and availability.
• Monitor bid opportunities and deadlines to guarantee timely submissions.
• Engage with general contractors, project managers, and clients as necessary.
• Support the transition to the project manager after the award.
• 3-5+ years of experience in construction estimating, inside sales, or a related discipline.
• Strong capability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude combined with a problem-solving approach.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple bids and deadlines concurrently.
• Excellent communication abilities (both written and verbal).
• Proficient in Excel and other general estimating tools.
