This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Responsible for guiding the sales process to create new sales opportunities or upsell through phone, email, or other electronic means.
• Manage responses to customer order and quotation inquiries from all account levels received through outside sales personnel, phone, email, and written or faxed communications.
• Identify new sales opportunities through proactive outbound calling and emailing.
• Support the sales process by managing projects, tracking open sales orders, resolving issues, and providing comprehensive customer service and support.
• Achieve profitable growth by meeting sales targets.
• Determine product pricing by referring to the pricing matrix and other relevant resources to establish the correct price.
• Create code directives for specific products while ensuring target margin goals are met.
• Carry out estimating, take-off, and proposal tasks as required.
• High School Diploma or GED is highly preferred.
• Specialized skills training or certification may be necessary.
• Typically, 2-5 years of experience in the relevant area of responsibility.
