• Accountable for facilitating the sales process to create new sales opportunities or upsell through phone, email, or other electronic means.
• Manage responses to customer orders and quotation inquiries across all account levels received through outside sales personnel, telephone, email, and written or faxed communications.
• Seek out new sales opportunities through outbound calls and emails.
• Streamline the sales process by managing projects, tracking open sales orders, resolving issues, and providing comprehensive customer service and support.
• Drive profitable growth by achieving quota targets.
• Determine product pricing by consulting the pricing matrix and other relevant resources to establish appropriate prices.
• Develop code directives for specific products while ensuring target margin goals are met.
• Carry out estimating, take-off, and proposal tasks as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
• Specialized skills training or certification may be necessary.
• Typically, 2-5 years of experience in the relevant field is required.
