📋 Description

• Conduct investigations to verify the details of loss for Homeowners Claims

• Assess coverage and damages, adjusting and negotiating claims within set authority limits

• Effectively prioritize tasks independently

• Collaborate with fraud or subrogation teams to reach optimal resolutions

• Manage first-party homeowner claims related to coverage, damages, and subrogation

• Recognize essential elements of residential construction and repair

• Assess customer needs and deliver appropriate service

• Acquire and implement procedures for identifying subrogation or fraud risks

• Utilize company systems and technology

⛳️ Requirements

• This is a fully remote role; ideal candidates should be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zones

• Prior experience in handling residential homeowner claims is highly desirable

• Proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis is strongly preferred

• Capability to investigate first-party homeowner claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation

• Intermediate knowledge of insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational dynamics

• Familiarity with residential construction and repair practices

• Basic understanding of company systems and technology

• Willingness to learn and assess subrogation or fraud risks

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States

• Active relevant insurance licenses may make candidates eligible for the licensing bonus

• Individuals holding active insurance licenses must terminate current appointments prior to onboarding and cannot maintain outside appointments during employment

• Applicants possessing a resident producer license must relinquish it when directed by the licensing team

• A dedicated, private workspace at home is mandatory

• Reliable internet connection is required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
