Inside Client Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the sales operations process for designated SLED accounts

• Provide direct sales support to Account Managers while managing ongoing IT infrastructure services and products

• Facilitate the onboarding and setup of new SLED customers

• Maintain expertise in SLED contracts, including state/local contracts, ERate, and NASPO

• Act as the primary internal contact for customers in collaboration with Account Managers

• Collaborate with the SLED contracts team to ensure compliance with public-sector contracts

• Attend customer meetings to strengthen relationships, understand objectives, and participate in project close-outs

• Delegate customer report requests, run-rate quotes, and orders to the appropriate internal teams

• Keep Salesforce account, contact, and project data accurate and up-to-date

• Work with Solution Architects to create Bills of Materials

• Produce precise solution-business quotes

• Forecast and identify prospective run-rate business

• Recognize cross-selling opportunities

• Manage registration processes to secure the best pricing

• Source vendor quotes while staying informed about promotions and pricing programs

• Participate in sales operations meetings

• Assist with onboarding new hires

• Prioritize tasks based on sales allocation, due dates, and work-order logistics

• Communicate with vendors on behalf of customers

• Address customer delivery and material issues

• Manage inquiries related to quoting, billing, sales, and technical support


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, relevant experience, or military experience

• A minimum of 4 years' experience in Information Technology/Sales Operations

• Preferred experience with Cisco, Dell/EMC, and VMware

• Proven experience working with SLED customers/accounts

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft software applications, including Excel and Word

• Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure and solutions manufacturers

• Strong focus on customer service

• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizational levels

• Flexible schedule to address high-priority issues during peak periods

• Excellent time management, organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Commitment to achieving customer satisfaction
