Inside Claims Representative II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer service

• Analyze policy wordings, ascertain policy coverage, and ensure proper reserving

• Investigate claims to assess liability

• Review information from appraisers, third-party adjusters, contractors, and repair facilities to quantify losses

• Negotiate with insured parties, claimants, attorneys, and insurers

• Coordinate services with vendors and service providers

• Manage claims from start to finish in a proactive manner

• Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards and policies within the claims system

• Stay informed about legislative changes and trends in the insurance industry

• Ensure fair and equitable adjustment of moderately complex auto and/or property claims through both telephone and written communication

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in insurance adjusting

• Actively pursuing Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation

• Strong customer service skills, demonstrating empathy and concern for clients

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong investigative and analytical capabilities

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry

• Proficient negotiation skills

• A college or university degree is preferred

• Must be able to work remotely from a state where W Insurance Company operates in the U.S. or a state where the company can process payroll

• Compliance with applicable work authorization and E-Verify requirements is necessary
