Auto Telephone Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations on basic and occasionally moderately complex auto claims

• Manage claims that do not involve legal representation

• Assess coverage, establish liability, and negotiate settlements

• Directly communicate with claimants, insured individuals, witnesses, and other related parties

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards throughout the claims process

• Investigate minor to moderately complex auto accidents and compile summaries

• Perform recorded statements with claimants, insured individuals, and witnesses

• Work in collaboration with internal teams to guarantee timely and customer-centric claims management

• Negotiate and resolve claims in accordance with established best practices and guidelines

• Maintain documentation of claim files with clear notes, summaries, and rationales for decisions

• Review and assess auto claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages

• No supervisory responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience and qualifications will be taken into account for compensation

• Must have authorization to work in the United States

• The employer does not sponsor work visas

• Candidates with an active insurance license must terminate all current appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any external appointments during employment

• Applicants with a resident producer license aiming for an adjuster position must relinquish that license when directed by the licensing team

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is required when working from home

• Suitable desk and seating arrangements are necessary

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required
