Inpatient On Call

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Self-scheduling of on-call shifts.

• Capability to execute basic computer operations, including operating system GUI functions.

• Obligation to be available during on-call shifts.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in a professional context.

• Completion of initial EMR training for each client facility as required.

• Documentation in various EMR programs tailored to client needs.

• Preparation of comprehensive assessment notes along with detailed care plans.

• Ordering appropriate respiratory therapy modalities based on patient circumstances.

• Compliance with policies and procedures applicable to each client facility.

• Strong critical thinking skills to troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment and patient scenarios.

• Adherence to HIPAA regulations.

• Completion of internal documentation aligned with rtNOW business objectives.

• Submission of call tracking and other necessary business forms.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of bedside experience in respiratory therapy.

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.

• Registered Respiratory Therapy credential.

• Experience in bedside critical care respiratory therapy practice.

• Familiarity with standards for cardiac support (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP).

• Valid state license in the assigned service location.

• Computer or laptop with an operating system no older than 6 years.

• Proficiency in using internet browsers and desktop applications.

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
