Inpatient Medicare & Medicaid Biller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the compliant, accurate, and timely billing of hospital patient accounts.

• Efficiently manage multiple tasks.

• Identify and rectify errors to ensure prompt payment.

• Generate and submit claims to Medicare and Medicare Advantage.

• Review patient financial records and claims before submission.

• Address claim edits and requests.

• Maintain precise records and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a hospital environment.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Medicare and Medicaid hospital billing functions.

• Proficiency in electronic health records and medical billing software.

• Strong analytical and compliance skills.

• Comprehensive knowledge of hospital billing requirements.

• Understanding of revenue cycle management best practices.
