Inpatient Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the strategy, design, and enhancement of OCHIN’s Epic Inpatient product suite.

• Provide expertise and advise on best-practice workflows.

• Implement system enhancements.

• Support organizational initiatives such as Gold Stars, Honor Roll, and Epic Upgrades.

• Execute system application builds.

• Create system application packages and navigate them through various environments.

• Assist with Epic workflows for Community Connects, Critical Access Hospitals, and Rural Healthcare.

• Engage with application and technical team members as well as end users.

• Complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment prior to the team interview.

• Operate in a virtual home-office setting while remaining on camera during virtual meetings.

• Travel nationally as required for Go-Live installations, training, and other business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Analyst.

• Current certification in designated Epic applications: ClinDoc and Orders.

• Proven healthcare IT work history is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in system application builds.

• Strong understanding of Inpatient workflows, analytics, and technology.

• Experience in creating system application packages and transitioning them through multiple environments.

• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical functionalities for Community Connects, Critical Access Hospitals, and Rural Healthcare.

• Excellent communication skills with application and technical teams and end users.

• Strong sense of integrity and accountability.

• Process- and detail-oriented mindset with an emphasis on data-driven decision making.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused.

• Ability to complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment prior to the team interview.

• Capability to work independently and effectively from a home office.

• Access to high-speed internet service.

• Maintain a distraction-free workplace.

• Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.

• COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption is required prior to hiring.

• Willingness to travel nationally as necessary.

• Preferred certifications: HOD, ASAP, Bugsy, Stork, Long Term Care, Rehab, Rover, and Wound Care.
