Innovation Funding Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the innovation narrative by creating persuasive pitch decks and video scripts.

• Facilitate intensive interview coaching sessions for founders.

• Develop comprehensive business cases that include budgeting, forecasting, and technology readiness level (TRL)/market-entry roadmaps.

• Oversee the entire client management process and proposal development.

• Engage in thorough vetting of startups.

• Serve as a mentor for junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD (preferred) or MSc in Physics, Quantum Technology, AI/Data Science, or Cleantech/Energy.

• 3-5+ years of proven success in strategic advising for Horizon Europe/H2020; previous experience with the EIC Accelerator is a significant advantage.

• Outstanding technical and business writing capabilities in English.

• Strong understanding of VC-level fundamentals including budgeting, financial analysis, and commercial viability.
