This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the alignment of project scope, structure the Proof of Concept (PoC) Canvas, define the RACI matrix, and oversee SLAs for access and credentialing.

• Supervise the execution of hypothesis testing in operational and real-world environments, ensuring the collection of performance evidence.

• Assist in the development of the technical-financial business case, map manufacturing maturity (MRL), define the intellectual property (IP) strategy, and prepare for contractual transition.

• Establish and manage follow-up cadences tailored to the solution profile, whether it be deep tech or soft tech.

• Maintain central management tools and documents to keep them current.

• Track progress based on the hypotheses and indicators outlined in the PoC Canvas.

• Act as the main point of contact and coordinator between startups, corporate technical and business stakeholders, and leadership.

• Facilitate ongoing stakeholder integration concerning follow-up cadences, hypothesis validation, and program governance.

• Monitor the one-on-one relationship between stakeholders and startups, identifying the need for backup or alternate contacts and addressing operational bottlenecks.

• Identify business bottlenecks faced by startups during sprint meetings.

• Activate and provide a range of mentorship programs and customized services.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Demonstrated experience in managing open innovation projects, including overseeing proofs of concept (PoCs), pilot projects, or MVP development.

• Strong proficiency in agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Startup.

• Experience with tools such as Trello, Planner, advanced Excel, Google Workspace, and SharePoint.

• Practical understanding of the TRL (Technology Readiness Level) and CRL (Commercial Readiness Level) scales.

• Capability to bridge the technical language of startups with the corporate and executive language of large industrial firms.

• Experience with CPSI or Brazil’s Innovation Legal Framework (Marco Legal da Inovação) is desirable.

• Familiarity with deep tech/hard tech and heavy industry is desirable.

• Basic knowledge of Intellectual Property and regulatory matters is desirable.

• Understanding of major open innovation players in Brazil, including accelerators, corporate venture capital (CVC) firms, investment funds, research and technology institutions (ICTs), EMBRAPII, and public funding agencies is desirable.
