Injury Triage Consultant – Allied Health or RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Engage with injured employees and their supervisors to assist them during their workplace injury by providing injury triage, first aid guidance, and connecting them with available support services and resources.

• Offer compassionate care to clients, leveraging expertise to enhance their personal health and wellbeing objectives.

• Manage the coordination of support and wellbeing services for a highly motivated and engaged clientele.

• Conduct initial early intervention triage with clients, addressing both physical and mental health needs.

• Perform relevant case coordination tasks, which include communicating with all stakeholders, sending email updates, and creating necessary documentation such as treatment plans or other required records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified Allied Health practitioner (Physiotherapist, Osteopath, Chiropractor, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, etc.) with full registration, or a Registered Nurse.

• Possess a current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

• Provide evidence of completing First Aid (level 2) or, in situations where staff have completed “Basic Life Support” training in a hospital environment.

• Demonstrate a caring and empathetic disposition.

• Previous experience in care coordination or occupational rehabilitation is preferred.

• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Possess proficient IT and time management abilities.

• Maintain a strong focus on customer service.
