Ingeniero DevOps – Sector Financiero/Bancario

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop pipelines for creating and provisioning development, testing, and production environments in cloud/on-prem.

• Provide support through training, resolving queries and incidents for agile teams/development groups regarding environment provisioning.

• Guide development teams in utilizing all previously deployed cloud/on-prem components approved for project initiatives (e.g., configurations to use such as virtual machines, operating systems, available versions, container services, serverless, everything deployed in the bank's environments).

• Offer recommendations regarding deployment tools, their usage, best practices, and specific configurations that may be required in alignment with security requirements.

• Support the resolution of incidents and/or issues in the development of pipelines in accordance with practices/processes implemented in the bank (e.g., incorrect service calls, unavailable services, lack of access to services, among others).

• Assist with change processes that need to align with the bank's ITIL practices when modifications are required in the environments or services integrated into development pipelines.

• Continuously build and update documentation related to environment provisioning and deployment in cloud/on-prem (e.g., created pipelines, written code, landing zones, users with access).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in agile environments.

• Knowledge of DevOps processes and concepts.

• Experience in DevOps and continuous integration systems (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or others).

• Extensive knowledge of version control systems (GIT).

• Familiarity with operating system administration (Linux).

• Experience in deploying and/or operating applications in Azure.

• Experience with containers and orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.).

• Outstanding learning ability.
