This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of integrations between systems and applications.

• Ensure proper communication and data transfer.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams.

• Implement efficient integration solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Participate in technical documentation, testing, and incident resolution.

• Apply best practices in integration and software development under the guidance of technical leaders.

• Analyze business and technical requirements to define integration flows.

• Design clear and versioned APIs and contracts.

• Implement robust solutions with error handling, retries, idempotency, and compensations.

• Document integrations and provide examples/SDKs when applicable.

• Engage in code reviews and establish best practices.

• Collaborate with infrastructure/DevOps for deployments and monitoring.

• Ensure the performance and scalability of integrations.

• Maintain and enhance existing integrations through level two support.

• Ensure compliance with security guidelines and regulations, such as GDPR when applicable.


⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XML Schema, and CSV.

• Design and consumption of RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger, versioning, and contracts.

• Understanding of Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, IBM MQ, or similar technologies.

• Comprehension of pub/sub patterns, queues, acknowledgments, and retries.

• Experience with data transformation using XSLT, JSONata, MapStruct, or tools specific to the stack.

• Proficiency in SQL, optimization, and queries.

• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, Redis, and Postgres.

• Understanding of OAuth2/OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS, data encryption, and secret management.

• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI and automated pipelines.

• Knowledge of structured logging, tracing with OpenTelemetry, metrics with Prometheus/Grafana, and alerting.

• Understanding of unit testing, contract testing such as PACT, and end-to-end integration testing.

• Proficient in Java, Node.js, Angular, .NET, or Python, depending on the stack, and related frameworks.
