Infrastructure/System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee systems and solutions based on AWS.

• Install, configure, and maintain both Linux and Windows servers.

• Monitor system performance and promptly troubleshoot any issues that arise.

• Safeguard and enhance IT infrastructure to ensure efficiency and security.

• Assist with the patching of Windows and Linux servers.

• Perform system upgrades, IAVA patching, and maintain compliance with STIG standards.

• Monitor production systems to ensure they meet performance standards outlined in contracts.

• Troubleshoot outages and system malfunctions.

• Manage resources in the AWS cloud environment.

• Implement access controls, backups, and firewall protections.

• Create and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, and policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active Secret clearance.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in systems or infrastructure.

• Security+ certification is required.

• Demonstrated experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a similar capacity.

• Strong skills in written and verbal communication.

• Experience with databases, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management.

• Ability to understand, analyze, and document technical requirements effectively.

• Capability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Familiarity with GIT, Jenkins CI/CD, Nessus, Oracle products, and Ansible.

• Experience with STIG compliance and security patching.

• Knowledge of AWS environments, services, and cloud architecture.

• Scripting experience in Python, Java, or PowerShell, along with knowledge of automation technologies.
