Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Recommend and oversee projects related to the design, construction, and implementation of intricate technology platforms and solutions.

• Install, upgrade, and modernize servers and systems throughout the enterprise infrastructure landscape.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex or escalated issues and outages effectively.

• Conduct problem-solving, root-cause, and post-mortem analyses.

• Drive enhancements in security and uphold a robust security posture across infrastructure environments.

• Collect data, identify and assess system requirements, and establish documentation standards.

• Create documentation for servers, network devices, and configurations.

• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.

• Lead the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures.

• Ensure business continuity and pinpoint opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Advise stakeholders and leadership on complex infrastructure environments.

• Mentor, coach, and develop team members.

• Contribute through knowledge sharing, best-practice coaching, audit automation, and recommendations for infrastructure efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Infrastructure Engineer.

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows network environments with a strong working knowledge of systems administration.

• Skilled in Microsoft Windows or macOS and Microsoft Office.

• Significant experience with public cloud solutions, virtualization technologies, and server operating systems.

• Capable of independently leading and delivering large-scale, complex infrastructure projects.

• Considerable hands-on experience with Citrix, NetApp, and Linux in enterprise production settings.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex or escalated issues and outages.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong data gathering, interviewing, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional customer service orientation and meticulous attention to detail.

• Outstanding leadership, sound judgment, and a blend of business and technology acumen.

• Ability to mentor, coach, and provide timely feedback to team members.

• Experience in designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.

• Participation in and driving server and environment audits for compliance.

• Experience in identifying and implementing audit automation capabilities.

• Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and leadership.

• Experience in developing and enforcing internal documentation standards.

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the role.
