Information Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Validate remote connections and system installations.

• Execute installations of digital products either on-premise or in the cloud.

• Set up servers, networks, and services.

• Carry out exceptional physical system installations when necessary.

• Assist with the activation of digital features for da Vinci systems.

• Offer technical support to both customers and Intuitive employees.

• Conduct maintenance inspections and implement upgrades/updates.

• Diagnose and repair failures in Intuitive digital products and related equipment.

• Ensure accurate configurations of the installed systems are maintained.

• Assist with tradeshow activities.

• Provide remote assistance to Intuitive Field Engineers.

• Keep thorough documentation, including Field Activity Reports, Return Material Authorizations, and complaint tickets.

• Respond promptly to reported issues to ensure exceptional customer support.

• Offer feedback aimed at enhancing processes and efficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4–7 years of experience in field service, preferably with medical systems.

• Demonstrated success in troubleshooting medical software systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in English and at least one language spoken in Italy or Spain, ideally both.

• Knowledge of Windows operating system and server administration.

• Professional expertise in installing and wiring PC hardware across various configurations.

• Established administrative and record-keeping capabilities.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.

• Capacity to work independently and effectively from a remote location.

• Efficient self-management with moderate oversight.

• Ability to access surgical and other patient care areas.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional short-notice travel.

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
