Information System Security Officer – ISSO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to the Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) All Domain Test Range (ADTR)

• Aid in delivering solutions to intricate problems while satisfying both functional and security criteria

• Ensure the operational integrity of the team’s computing environment in alignment with all TRMC directives and relevant RMF requirements

• Collaborate with other distributed team members to review the current system status and strategize for future enhancements

• Develop, implement, and uphold security policies, procedures, and standards to protect organizational information systems

• Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential risks

• Administer both Windows and Linux servers

• Manage Active Directory

• Supervise the virtualization of servers utilizing VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CASP, Security+

• Active TS/SCI security clearance

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in system administration or cybersecurity, particularly within a DoD environment

• Expertise in managing Windows and Linux servers, encompassing installation, security policies, configuration, and troubleshooting
