Information Security Officer – ISO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee security operational governance initiatives

• Propel security remediation activities and ensure adherence to SLA/SLO

• Guarantee excellence in the delivery of security tools and business operations

• Cultivate and manage relationships with Gainwell Technologies suppliers and clients

• Develop and sustain account security plans for designated accounts and products

• Oversee and document security incidents from initiation to resolution

• Coordinate audit preparation, facilitation, and remediation processes

• Manage security risks and exceptions effectively

• Ensure the application of security fundamentals, policies, and compliance with regulatory and contractual standards

• Identify, escalate, and resolve security concerns

• Organize security metrics and reporting to support contractual obligations

• Deliver security information in a clear and confident manner

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in risk management, audit, security, or technical delivery roles

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Security, or a relevant combination of education and experience

• Familiarity with security and auditing regulations

• Experience with audit and compliance programs, including leading audits and remediation initiatives

• Knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, MARS-E/ARC-AMPE, and FedRAMP standards

• Proven ability to function effectively in diverse, multinational, and virtual settings

• Background as a Security consultant, architect, and/or engineer

• Experience in security management, focusing on information governance and compliance

• Extensive knowledge of information security industry best practices with practical experience

• Familiarity with security processes and standards, particularly NIST 800-53 and/or ISO27001

• Understanding of security audit and accreditation procedures

• Experience with SIMM and SAM working compliance

• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, determination, sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to influence delivery personnel and adapt to new security protocols
