Information Security Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Supervise the effectiveness of security measures across designated clients, services, and business environments.

• Manage security risks, control gaps, and remediation efforts until they are resolved.

• Assist in security incident management, including escalation, investigation, and reporting activities.

• Coordinate audit, compliance, and assurance initiatives, which includes evidence collection and engagement with stakeholders.

• Promote ongoing enhancements in security governance, operational workflows, and security performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in information security, cyber security, risk management, or security operations.

• In-depth understanding of security governance, compliance, and control frameworks, including ISO 27001 and the NIST Cyber Security Framework.

• Experience in managing security incidents, conducting audits, maintaining risk registers, and overseeing remediation programs.

• Capability to evaluate security risks and convert findings into actionable business strategies.

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, communication, and reporting.

• Relevant professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISMP, CCP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor.

• Familiarity with compliance requirements related to UK GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus, or specific client regulations.
