Information Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement security protocols to safeguard Vytalize's data and information systems.

• Evaluate risks and create a security architecture for information systems.

• Conduct periodic assessments to identify any deficiencies in controls.

• Oversee security risk evaluations throughout the ecosystem, including audits and certifications for the information security program.

• Carry out assessments of third-party information security risks.

• Address and manage incidents related to information security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in the field of healthcare information security.

• Prior experience in Health Information Technology (HIT) with a focus on implementing controls for federal security and privacy regulations.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant IT security experience in a complex enterprise environment is preferred.

• Proven understanding of IT processes, risks, infrastructure, and information security practices.

• Knowledgeable in HIPAA, HITECH, and PCI DSS standards.

• Background in incident response, vulnerability management, and conducting security audits.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a capacity for cross-department collaboration.

• Capability to analyze security designs and suggest configurations with meticulous attention to detail.
