Information Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conducting risk assessments for new vendors and analyzing the risks associated with existing vendors.

• Assessing alerting systems and processes, while creating security automation workflows.

• Developing policies and runbooks, managing incident reports, and analyzing penetration testing results.

• Establishing new monitoring capabilities, creating alerts, and integrating additional data feeds.

• Offering security advice regarding compliance matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, information systems, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in the field of information security.

• Proficient in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell and Bash.

• Professional security certification (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proven understanding of security challenges across computer, cloud, and IaaS environments.

• Knowledge of AI security frameworks and principles is a plus.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
