Information Security Due Diligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the initiatives of the Information Security awareness program.

• Safeguard information and information systems against unauthorized access, usage, disclosure, disruption, alteration, examination, recording, or destruction.

• Determine business process requirements along with corresponding business/application solutions.

• Deliver training and support directly to customers.

• Investigate alternatives, prepare presentations, drive solutions, conduct testing, achieve consensus, and implement solutions for specified business processes.

• Develop documentation outlining technical security requirements and functions.

• Produce reports, research and analyze data, and communicate trends to management and business partners.

• Manage small to medium-scale projects or segments of larger projects.

• Perform risk assessments and interview both internal and external customers.

• Support the development of information systems and advise the business community on risks linked to new or evolving technologies.

• Stay updated on industry advancements and integrate knowledge into daily tasks.

• Engage in the evaluation and selection of new technologies.

• Address security issues across email, file transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing, and other platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in information security.

• At least 2 years of experience with networking, intrusion detection, VPN, PKI, Checkpoint and PIX firewalls, CISCO; NAC; identity management, and encryption technologies.

• CISSP, GIAC, CCNA, and CCNP certifications are preferred.

• Must be willing to perform duties outside of regular working hours based on business requirements.
