This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate AI working groups to formulate cybersecurity processes for secure AI solutions.
• Collaborate with AI architects and developers to embed security practices within the AI development lifecycle.
• Create and execute data protection and AI security strategies throughout the lifecycle of data and AI systems.
• Design and apply security solutions and controls for AI and ML applications.
• Perform threat modeling exercises to pinpoint security risks and vulnerabilities in AI systems.
• Monitor and evaluate data protection and AI security metrics to foster continuous improvement.
• Utilize adversarial testing, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning to evaluate AI solution resilience and security.
• Lead investigations into security incidents and propose preventive measures.
• Spearhead initiatives to integrate AI capabilities into security platforms and processes.
• Ensure compliance of AI systems with national and state data protection and privacy regulations.
• Implement security standards and frameworks such as HITRUST and NIST in AI projects.
• Stay informed on AI security best practices and regulations, offering recommendations for enhancements.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to incorporate security measures into AI systems and processes.
• Offer guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Achieve annual performance review goals, manage special projects, and fulfill other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 12 years of experience in Cybersecurity domains, including application security, security architecture, network security, and data protection.
• Comprehensive knowledge of AI technologies and governance principles, along with their associated security risks.
• Familiarity with machine learning models, adversarial attacks, and data privacy regulations.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and address security vulnerabilities in AI systems.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to engage with diverse teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or AI ethics/security credentials are advantageous.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lead projects with limited guidance.
• Provision of high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.
