Information Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Safeguard the organization's network infrastructure, systems, and corporate information.

• Manage and configure cybersecurity solutions, including Next-Generation Firewalls, VPNs, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), web content filters, and 802.1X.

• Oversee network traffic to detect unusual activities and potential threats.

• Examine logs, identify intrusions, and assist in the management, response, and mitigation of cybersecurity incidents.

• Manage public key infrastructure (PKI).

• Automate incident response procedures utilizing Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl.

• Evaluate and enhance the security of public and/or hybrid cloud environments.

• Compile technical reports, document incidents, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related higher-education program, along with a postgraduate qualification in IT.

• Proven experience in network security within large organizations.

• Proficient in administering Next-Generation Firewalls and virtualized firewalls.

• Familiarity with web content filters and VPN gateways.

• Experience with Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), EDR, and WAF.

• Knowledge of Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB).

• Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM).

• Proficient in using SIEM for log and event correlation.

• Experienced in securing endpoints through 802.1X in campus networks.

• Familiarity with multi-factor authentication.

• ITIL Foundation v3 or higher certification or training.

• At least one of the following certifications: (ISC)² CISSP, (ISC)² CCFP, EC-Council CEH, EC-Council ECSA, Offensive Security OSCP, Offensive Security OSCE, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.

• Proficient in using SIEM tools.

• Understanding of Zero Trust architecture.

• Technical English proficiency for reading documentation and threat reports.
