This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as a reliable infection prevention consultant and main point of contact for essential hospital stakeholders in vascular access, patient care areas, quality, and more.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with significant clinical and economic stakeholders.
• Achieve sustainable business growth by meeting sales targets through effective account and territory management.
• Utilize data and analytics to guide business planning processes.
• Recognize and address customer financial and clinical priorities and challenges.
• Leverage the hospital network and various connections to pinpoint expansion and conversion opportunities.
• Convince key stakeholders at accounts to support proposed solutions and products.
• Enhance the mix of New Product Introductions (NPIs).
• Collaborate with channel, distribution, and kitting partners to manage relationships and coordinate mutually beneficial strategies and programs.
• Provide new and ongoing training, education, technical support, and resolution for product-related issues as necessary.
• Use publications and industry guidelines to advocate for product adoption and standardization.
• Promote contract compliance and explore standardization opportunities.
• Consult with clinicians on the safe and effective application of products.
• Exhibit proficiency upon successful completion of the sales training program.
• Utilize company software for planning, pipeline management, and usage tracking.
• Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 2 years of sales and/or clinical experience OR High School Diploma/GED AND 4 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Possession of a current, valid Driver’s License.
• Demonstrated history of achieving quotas and targets.
• Prior experience in healthcare sales or clinical roles.
• Proven track record in territory management and business planning.
• Expertise in building strong customer relationships with key influencers.
• Solid understanding of clinical value drivers across various care areas.
• Familiarity with the field of cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and asepsis.
• Customer-focused approach to selling and closing deals.
• Experience navigating complex sales cycles.
• Successful completion of a formal sales training program.
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
• Familiarity with new product introductions and the value analysis process.
• Experience working with distribution channel partners.
