This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and enhance strategic customer relationships for wind turbines throughout the Americas.
• Act as a reliable lubricant advisor by comprehending customers' business requirements, operational difficulties, and lubricant application needs.
• Contribute to AMSOIL Industrial’s Wind business by identifying growth prospects with both current and potential customers.
• Collaborate closely with AMSOIL Industrial leadership, the global Wind team, technical support, customer service, marketing, product development, and other internal departments to fulfill customer requirements.
• Establish and nurture strong connections with owner/operators, service providers, OEMs, distributors, procurement teams, field teams, and technical contacts.
• Assist in customer discussions regarding gearbox oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, pitch and yaw applications, main bearing grease, open gear grease, flushing support, and field trials.
• Organize internal resources to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and support customer projects.
• Facilitate customer onboarding, discussions on product conversions, trial opportunities, quote follow-ups, account planning, and long-term business development.
• Relay customer needs, market insights, competitive dynamics, and account possibilities internally.
• Prepare and present customer presentations, business reviews, account updates, and discussions related to products.
• Collaborate with technical resources when deeper application, engineering, oil analysis, or field trial support is required.
• Keep precise records of accounts, opportunity updates, customer activities, and sales pipeline data.
• Participate in industry events, customer meetings, trade shows, and wind industry conferences as necessary.
• Travel 50% of the time to foster customer relationships, support business development, attend field meetings, and engage in industry events.
• Strong experience in customer relationship management and account oversight.
• Background in the wind industry or significant experience in selling to technical industrial markets.
• Capability to act as a trusted advisor to customers, rather than merely a product salesperson.
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service, reliability, uptime, procurement needs, and field support expectations specific to the wind industry.
• Proficiency in communicating with field technicians, operations managers, procurement teams, engineers, sales teams, and senior decision-makers.
• Technical curiosity and eagerness to learn about wind turbine lubricant applications, including gearboxes, hydraulics, greases, pitch and yaw systems, and main bearing applications.
• Ability to manage multiple customers, opportunities, priorities, and internal follow-up tasks.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work collaboratively across functions with sales leadership, technical support, customer service, product development, marketing, operations, and supply chain.
• Comfort in presenting customer updates, product details, account strategies, and business opportunities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Capability to obtain and maintain necessary safety certifications, including wind turbine climb certification when required.
