Industrial Refrigeration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Proactively execute engineering tasks, which encompass maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDC, and warehouses, involving a range of equipment such as Recip, Scroll, and Screw compressor packs, including Ammonia, Co2, and HFC/HFO installations.

• Perform service and reactive breakdown support during regular working hours, and participate in out-of-hours work by being part of a standby rota.

• Monitor internal and client support functions to fulfill the requirements and objectives of both our customers and our business.

• Ensure that engineering tasks received are approached with the necessary commercial awareness and compliance with business systems at all times.

• Accountable for the quality of each engineering task received, supporting contract responsibilities by adhering to all established practices consistently.

• Participants must align with all industry best practices and legislative guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Established knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector, along with an understanding of Industrial Refrigeration customer expectations.

• Ability to demonstrate relevant technical competencies and certifications pertinent to the required skills, such as 2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, and Ammonia.

• Successfully completed a recognized training course or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.

• Solid foundational knowledge of maintenance and service responsibilities in medium to large industrial applications.

• Experience in diagnosing technical issues and fault-finding for large central plant installations, including familiarity with refrigeration compressors such as Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom, etc.
