Alignment Scientist – Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in ML research, alignment research, or a combination of both.

• A strong interest in AI alignment and a belief that substantial progress on the issue is achievable.

• Proficient in Python with experience in developing, training, or assessing deep learning models (NLP, vision, or LLMs).

• Familiarity with calling AI model APIs through REST or client libraries.

• Capability to decompose complex challenges into tangible experiments and execute them, whether independently or collaboratively.

• Enthusiastic about utilizing AI tools and automating as much as possible.

• Adaptable to a dynamic, startup-like environment.

• Effective communicator in English, able to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
