This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive delivery of customer orders within the Allen-Sherman-Hoff (ASH) portfolio.
• Ensures that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and adhere to quality specifications.
• Acts as the primary contact for customers, coordinating efforts across engineering, procurement, fabrication/manufacturing, quality assurance, field service, and logistics to fulfill contractual obligations and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Utilizes established project management methodologies to achieve scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets while fostering robust stakeholder engagement.
• Plans, executes, and regulates projects to align with scope, schedule, cost, and quality aims; manages all delivery aspects and serves as the sole point of contact for the customer.
• Confirms sales orders against customer purchase orders and quotations (including lead times, quantities, pricing, and payment terms) to ensure contract foundations are precise and comprehensive.
• Collaborates effectively with customers, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Field Service, and other Andritz departments to meet requirements and maintain stakeholder communication and engagement.
• Oversees order execution to ensure accuracy and timely delivery within projected costs and profitability goals; monitors performance and reports updates to management.
• Facilitates proposal development and contract modifications (estimates, pricing, commercial terms) with the Proposal/Estimating team to ensure submissions are responsive, competitive, and compliant.
• Leads coordination among resources and suppliers in design, procurement, fabrication/manufacturing, logistics, and field service; visits Andritz facilities or vendor sites as necessary to support project execution.
• Maintains all required contract correspondence and project documentation in accordance with Allen-Sherman-Hoff protocols, including change logs, approvals, and records.
• Upholds financial and contractual obligations for customer orders in alignment with Andritz objectives; makes decisions regarding returns, credits, and discounts within authorized limits and escalates issues as needed.
• Addresses technical and quality challenges (including ARMs/returns, corrective orders, over/under shipments) and negotiates resolutions; drives the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Ensures adherence to quality assurance and compliance by executing and retaining ITPs, weld maps, NDE, pressure tests, and associated records consistent with contractual stipulations.
• Develops and manages procurement strategies (including bid packages/RFQs, vendor selection, POs/subcontracts, expediting, logistics, and material control) in collaboration with the Procurement team.
• Coordinates planning for pre-commissioning/commissioning, performance testing, and final turnover operations.
• Engages in monthly contract reviews and provides clear, timely status updates.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or a minimum of 5 years of experience as an on-site Project Manager.
• Experience in contract review and analysis.
• Background in project management, field service engineering, sales, or strategic planning.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and customer relations.
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities, including proficiency in technical reading and writing.
• Estimated travel requirements: 10%.
• Capability to lift, push, and pull weights ranging from 10-25 lbs.
• PMP® or CAPM® certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and Oracle.
