This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Collect samples of noise, water, air, and/or building materials.
• Analyze and interpret collected data.
• Prepare field trip reports, along with data tables and figures for summary documentation.
• Conduct assessments related to Industrial Hygiene concerning Chemical and Noise Exposures.
• Evaluate Indoor Environmental Quality.
• Perform Air Monitoring activities.
• Execute Building Materials Sampling.
• Carry out assessments for Water Intrusion and Mold.
• Conduct moisture mapping and assessments of visible suspected biological growth.
• Implement mold sampling and clearance procedures.
• Supervise Asbestos Abatement projects and sampling processes.
• Perform inspections for Lead-based Paint and clearance testing.
• Assist in overseeing project activities.
• Ensure adherence to safe work practices across all project tasks.
• Proactively pursue your own career development.
• BA/BS in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 1 year of technical experience is preferred.
• Experience with industrial hygiene, asbestos, mold, and lead sampling is necessary.
• Certifications as an asbestos, lead, and/or mold inspector are advantageous.
• Additional EHS certifications or an interest in obtaining further qualifications is strongly encouraged.
• Familiarity with asbestos OSHA, EPA, and state regulations is essential.
• Capability to work in a respirator and protective gear.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• Strong research and analytical abilities to identify, gather, organize, and document information and data.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• A solid safety record and comprehension of safe work practices.
• A valid driver's license, a clean driving history, and reliable transportation are mandatory.
• 80-90% of the role will involve fieldwork/travel.
