Indirect Tax Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Prepare and submit annual reports along with business licenses.

• Provide assistance with monthly sales and use tax compliance tasks, as needed.

• Oversee all requests for exemption certificates from vendors and customers.

• Maintain the OneSource tax software, including product exceptions, customer exemptions, rate overrides, and material group mappings.

• Address inquiries and audits from tax authorities, as required.

• Help with account reconciliations for various tax obligations.

• Recognize and support process improvement initiatives.

• Communicate effectively within the organization to ensure the flow of information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in administrative, customer service, tax/finance, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet Applications.

• Experience with SAP or tax engines is a plus.
