Independent Sales Representative – Public Safety AI Radio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Engage with firehouses, police departments, and public safety facilities to present Mermaid AI

• Perform live, face-to-face demonstrations of our AI-driven radio solution

• Cultivate relationships with chiefs, officers, and local decision-makers

• Recognize opportunities and facilitate deals throughout the complete sales cycle

• Participate in regional events, training sessions, and industry gatherings

• Represent Mermaid AI as the primary point of contact in your designated territory

• Offer real-world insights to influence product development

• At ease initiating conversations in firehouses or police departments

• Excellent communicator able to convey technical innovations as practical benefits

• Systematic and disciplined in overseeing your sales pipeline

• Passionate about promoting a new category of AI technology

• Experience in public safety (firefighter, police, EMS)

• Background in radio communications, RF, or telecommunications (Preferred Experience)

• Experience in government or municipal sales (Preferred Experience)

• Familiarity with in-person, field-based sales (Preferred Experience)

• Knowledge of how public agencies assess and acquire equipment (Preferred Experience)
