Independent Sales Representative – Public Safety AI Radio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engage with firehouses, police departments, and public safety facilities to present Mermaid AI.

• Perform live, in-person demonstrations of our AI-driven radio solution.

• Foster relationships with chiefs, officers, and municipal decision-makers.

• Spot opportunities and advance deals through the entire sales cycle.

• Participate in regional events, training sessions, and industry gatherings.

• Represent Mermaid AI in your designated territory.

• Offer real-world insights to aid in product development.

• At ease initiating conversations in firehouses or police departments.

• Excellent communicator capable of conveying technical innovations as tangible benefits.

• Methodical and disciplined in overseeing your own sales pipeline.

• Experience in: Public safety (firefighter, police, EMS).

• Knowledge of radio communications, RF, or telecommunications.

• Background in government or municipal sales.

• Proven experience in face-to-face, field-centric sales.

• Understanding of how public agencies assess and acquire equipment.
