Independent Property Field Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Efficiently and promptly manage all assigned claims with minimal supervision.

• Make claim decisions within the delegated authority based on company and carrier policies.

• Accurately analyze policy coverages and apply the appropriate claims practices.

• Establish and communicate reserves in accordance with carrier expectations.

• Keep current with knowledge of insurance policies, guidelines, and industry standards.

• Have a solid understanding of local construction methods, pricing, and repair standards.

• Submit supplemental reports as necessary (e.g., severe incident reports, ITV reports).

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all insured individuals, clients, and stakeholders.

• Uphold high standards of professional conduct across all assignments.

• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in handling property claims.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing Xactimate and Symbility estimating software.

• A strong understanding of insurance policies, practices, and procedures.

• General knowledge of construction is strongly preferred.
