Independent Property Field Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Efficiently and effectively oversee all assigned claims with minimal supervision.

• Make claim determinations within the delegated authority according to company and carrier policies.

• Precisely interpret policy coverages and implement suitable claims practices.

• Set and communicate reserves in accordance with carrier expectations.

• Keep current with insurance policies, guidelines, and industry practices.

• Comprehend local construction methods, pricing, and repair standards.

• Provide supplemental reports as necessary (e.g., severe incident reports, ITV reports).

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all insureds, clients, and stakeholders.

• Uphold high standards of professional conduct throughout all assignments.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience managing property claims.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing Xactimate and Symbility estimating software.

• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, practices, and procedures.

• General construction knowledge is highly preferred.
