Independent Contractor Recruiter – Last Mile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct research to identify and enroll Independent Contractors (ICs) in designated markets.

• Uphold a consistent vetting process for qualifying ICs in accordance with Company, DOT, and other legal standards.

• Execute IC audits during load-out, uniform checks, truck inspections, ride-alongs, in-home evaluations, check-ins, and invoice validation to ensure top-tier delivery service.

• Ensure that the processes for IC documentation and payouts are precise, comprehended, and adhered to.

• Serve as the recruiting liaison between ICs and location Managers.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and monitor IC compensation based on varying delivery service levels.

• Engage in recruiting and startup planning to facilitate the 'go live' phase for new business initiatives.

• Maintain an extensive understanding of all locations, clients in those areas, and the services provided.

• Arrange IC interviews in collaboration with the Operations Team.

• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with ICs and Managers.

• Provide IC rate information for Business Development Opportunities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business or a relevant field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, management, and systems/applications within logistics, supply chain service environments, or delivery service providers.

• Familiarity with third-party contracts for delivery agents.

• Previous experience in Business Development is advantageous.
