Independent Contractor Recruiter – Last Mile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Conduct research to identify and engage Independent Contractors (ICs) in designated markets.

• Uphold a consistent vetting procedure for qualifying ICs in accordance with Company, DOT, and other legal standards.

• Execute IC audits during load-out, including uniform inspections, truck checks, ride-alongs, in-home evaluations, check-ins, and invoice validation to guarantee top-tier delivery service.

• Ensure that the IC documentation and payment processes are accurate, comprehensible, and adhered to.

• Serve as the recruiting liaison between ICs and location Managers.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and IC compensation based on varying delivery service levels.

• Engage in recruiting and startup planning to facilitate the 'go live' phase for new business initiatives.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all locations, clients within those areas, and the services provided.

• Arrange IC interviews in collaboration with the Operations Team.

• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with ICs and Managers.

• Provide IC rate information for Business Development Opportunities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in business or a similar field is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in operations, management, or systems/applications within logistics and supply chain service environments, or with delivery service providers.

• Familiarity with third-party contracts for delivery agents is essential.

• Prior experience in Business Development is advantageous.
