Independent Contractor – Future of Mobility Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the DEKRA consulting and training team, working in tandem with instructional designers and sales personnel to develop and deliver top-notch EV/HV safety courses.

• Leverage your technical knowledge in electrified vehicle technology to provide training for clients and service staff.

• Create and oversee training schedules and assessments.

• Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions, including workshops, webinars, and practical demonstrations.

• Organize and implement on-site training as necessary to fulfill client needs.

• Monitor and report on completed and forthcoming training programs, ensuring precision in data management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in automotive or heavy equipment service roles is essential.

• Preferred knowledge and hands-on experience with high-voltage and EV repair.

• Strong background in presenting, coaching, and facilitating technical training materials to varied audiences.

• Passion for showcasing and conveying vehicle product information to service teams and other stakeholders.

• Competence in IT systems, learning management systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Outstanding scheduling and organizational capabilities to effectively manage multiple training programs.

• Certification in high-voltage systems or related automotive technologies is preferred.

• Familiarity with industry standards such as NFPA 70E and EV safety regulations is preferred.
