Independent Contractor – Future of Mobility Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the DEKRA consulting and training team, working alongside instructional designers and sales personnel to develop and deliver superior EV/HV safety courses.

• Leverage your technical knowledge in electrified vehicle technology to provide training for clients and service staff.

• Create and oversee training schedules and evaluations.

• Lead both in-person and virtual training sessions, including workshops, webinars, and practical demonstrations.

• Organize and conduct on-site training when necessary to fulfill client needs.

• Monitor and report on completed and forthcoming training initiatives, ensuring precise data management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Automotive and Heavy Equipment Service Experience: Significant experience in automotive or heavy equipment service positions is essential.

• High Voltage and Electric Vehicle Expertise: Familiarity and practical experience with high-voltage and EV repair is highly desirable.

• Facilitation and Coaching Skills: Proven background in presenting, coaching, and facilitating technical training content to varied audiences.

• Passion for Training: A genuine interest in showcasing and delivering vehicle product information to service teams and other stakeholders.

• Strong Technical Skills: Competence in IT systems, learning management systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Time Management and Organization: Outstanding scheduling and organizational abilities to effectively manage multiple training programs.

• Preferred Skills: Certification in high-voltage systems or related automotive technologies.

• Understanding of industry standards, including NFPA 70E and EV safety regulations.

• Experience in developing engaging e-learning content or multimedia training resources.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate with diverse teams.
